About Luck Bros Kota Damansara
Opened in Dec 2022, Luck Bros Kota Damansara is the newest addition to Luckin Kopi's growing empire of bespoke cafes.
Previously known as Luckin Kopi, this is their third outlet after their maiden branch at Petaling Street, followed by KLIA.
Located within a building, this outlet is sectioned into two areas and is divided by a corridor that leads you to the café, or the petting zoo.
The proprietors of the business maintain the same menu across all three restaurants. However, its key differentiator is the mini zoo.
Swarmed by families with young kids and pet lovers of all ages, this petting zoo in Selangor is the perfect playground to spend time with animals.
The cafe is located opposite the petting zoo. So fueling up with good food after the walkabout is convenient too.
To get to the café, just key in Luckbros Kota Damansara into the Waze app.
Ease of Parking
Being an industrial showroom nestled within a factory area, there are no parking bays here. As such, you’ll have to park along the roadside.
There are no allocated bays drawn on the roadside too.
So do park mindfully as to not obstruct the neighboring vehicles. The plus point is that Rela members are here to help direct the traffic and point you to the right space.
Given the distance from your car to the café, bring an umbrella just in case it rains or if it gets too hot.
Ambiance
Luckbros Kota Damansara sports a lush façade with cascading greenery and ample potted plants lining the driveway leading up to the café. Styled to look like a glass house with black paneling,
And the same time, it bears a close resemblance to their Petaling Street branch.
The interior is chic and crisp, with warm lights complementing woody accents from the furniture and fittings. The hard black paneling creates a captivating contrast against the brick walls, while the industrial walls lend a less polished look that mellows it down with radiating warmth.
Burst of indoor plants reinforces its green theme as guests bask and dine comfortably within its spacious interior.

Luckbros Kopi Menu and Food
The portions here are generous and they serve Malaysian fanfare with a twist. For starters, the kaya butter toasts are a heavenly delight. The butter is unlike any of the shelf-brands and is carefully blended with refreshing lemon for a zesty aftertaste. The sweet kaya complements the toast perfectly as you sink your teeth into the fluffy yet crisp toasted bread.
Although the salted egg chicken Mi Sedaap is their signature dish, it somewhat falls below expectations. The sauce was too spicy for comfort, and the salted egg tasted more artificial flavoring than the real thing. The noodles could be more seasoned, while the fried chicken was not crispy on the outside.
On the other hand, the nasi lemak with curry chicken or fried chicken packs quite a delicious punch, with a sunny side egg and cucumber on the sides. The sambal leans towards the sweetish side, and the umami anchovy nuances plus well-sautéed onions round up this tasty dish.
The Nasi Kerabu is another impeccable dish on a pretty platter. Served with the same fried chicken as the nasi lemak, its batter is thick and crispy yet the chicken is juicy inside.
The seafood aglio olio tasted rather bland overall and could be used with a stronger flavor profile. Still, the oysters and shrimp are fresh.
Thankfully the ice kacang is a savior and turns out to be a commendable dessert. Liberally
Their kopi kaw is the perfect caffeine jolt with robust flavors to boot.
Unlike the other 2 outlets, the Luck Bros Kota Damansara outlet features a kid's menu sufficient to meet the needs of even the most finicky eater. Whet their appetite with a plate of spaghetti meatballs and fries. Or watch your little one chow down to rice with minced beef, meatballs, and fries
If that’s not enough, pad up your tummy with wholesome local snacks which include fried puffs with different fillings such as banana, yam, gula Melaka coconut, or the fail poof curry puff.
Alternatively, their deep-fried D24 durian and deep-fried Cempedak will put you on a gastronomic cloud nine. The deep frying caramelizes the fruit’s natural sugar, coating each bite with the sweetness that explodes to a satisfying crunch.
Pricing
The price of food is on par with other cafes ranging from RM10.90 for snacks and up to RM32.90 for a main meal. Considering that servings are huge and can be shared among small eaters, the average price per meal of RM20 is reasonable.
Conclusion
Looking back at the photos of your loved ones with the unique animals makes the trip to this petting zoo in Selangor a memorable outing. This refurbished, 2-storey industrial lot has well-maintained enclosures, despite being labor-intensive to upkeep.
The food complements the petting zoo experience, and some even come here just to dine. Let’s not discount the fact that the ambiance is rave-worthy and its soothing color scheme makes the environment a cozy sanctuary.
Succinct to say, Luckbros Kota Damansara is one of the best cafes in Kota Damansara many pet lovers find themselves coming back for more!
